Hello parents and students! My name is Angela Faust. I am a Tamaqua Area School District alumni and earned my teaching degree from Kutztown University. I later received my Masters in Education from Wilkes University. My husband and I have a gorgeous daughter named Adalyn. She is our pride and joy and certainly keeps us on our toes! As a family, we love camping, fishing, and spending time outdoors. We also compete with 2 of our 3 dogs in DockDogs water jumping competitions. In 2009-2011, our dog Cooper was ranked 8th in the world and 6th in the country for an event called Extreme Vertical (similar to human high-jump). His best was jumping at a height of 7' 6." We do a lot of traveling along the east coast competing with our cool pups. As if we weren't busy with our crazy pups, we also shark fish along the east coast and tag for NOAA. We recently were offered to present at a county festival in Cape May, NJ of our tagging, studies, and practices. I have been blessed to have the most rewarding of careers. I look forward to new discovery, questioning, and adventures each day. I cherish the opportunity in getting to know my students and have them truly discover their individual strengths and interests. |
